Direct selling continues to show sustained growth in Europe

Seldia announced good figures for 2016. The direct selling sector has continued to grow in Europe with 3% in 2016 to reach 32.9 billion euros. Strong sales are in wellness, cosmetics and personal care. Europe is the third largest direct selling market globally with a 20% share of sales. The sector saw increased growth rates across Europe, with Germany 14,5 bn), France (4,1 bn) the UK (3,5 bn), Italy (2,8 bn) and Poland (1 bn) as the European top 5 Markets. Europe has seen a steady upward trend in direct sales for the last few years and is forecasted to continue growing.
